I am sad to report that Aline Becker passed away in the morning
of January 27, 1998.
This is a terrible loss to the egg artists of our time. I will always remember her as one of the sweetest most helpful ladies I have ever known. She always had time to offer suggestions and advice. I credit her for all of my know how skills that are necessary to be a really good egger. She will be sorely missed by all of us.

This page is dedicated to the art of Aline Becker.
It is designed with her permission.
All of the eggs are her own designs and she reserves all rights to them.
They are the designs published over the many years in her wonderful periodical "Eggs" and from her wonderful book "Heirloom Eggs". Every serious egger should have a copy of "Heirloom Eggs" and of course "Eggs" is a must, all of the back issues are subject to availability...and a treasure to own I might add. Aline devoted most of her egging life to showing off the best of the best eggs from around the world.

Wild Rose Purse
? Eggs: issue 45

I have know of Aline for most of my egging life.....her Heirloom Eggs was the first book I stumbled on to when I started egging....I soon started getting her "Eggs" my collection spans over 13 years now. It has proven to be one of my most valuable teaching tools.

I just talked to Aline's daughter Esther and the Eggs Periodical issues are available as long as they last. It is my recommendation that those who do not have them get them before they are gone. There is still a limited supply of the last edition of Heirloom Eggs (Aline's very comprehensive book of instructions and pictures). Aline was in the process of reprinting this book. At this time it is not certain that the reprint will continue. Aline's PO Box will be kept up for the time being and you can reach her family thru it.
